He has also starred in many Hollywood films and on TV in recent years. Kevin Hart has been involved in the plant-based community for quite some time now. Hart shares on his website that he “founded Hart House to create a good experience that combines the joy of coming together over food with the power of purpose.” The 100% plant-based restaurant has already opened two locations in California. The first locations opened on August 25 in the Westchester area, right near LAX. The second location is located in the city of Monrovia. He is also opening up a third location in the Hollywood area.
When I heard about this restaurant and saw so many TikToks and YouTube videos about it, I just knew I wanted to try it. The number one thing that was constant throughout every single video was affordability. Within the first month of opening, I went to Hart House to try it out myself. When I first walked up, the restaurant was covered in vibrant colors. Before I walked inside, there were two beautiful souls there to welcome me and give me a flyer.
The menu itself is very familiar, having single and double burgers with Chick’n’ Sandwich’s spicy and deluxe options. The sides include nuggets, fries, and tots. You also have the option of getting a salad. Each menu option is handcrafted with fresh ingredients. I got the chick’n sandwich with half-and-half tots and fries. The prices are very reasonable, bringing two meals plus a full-size drink to around 25 dollars. The chick’n sandwich definitely had a nice taste, and I will be returning to try the nuggets and shakes.
On top of having two restaurants, you have a chance to book Hart House for catering until March 2nd via Instagram DM @myharthouse. If you’re in the Southern California area, you may even see the Hart House food truck.
