ABOUT VKIND
Vkind is a mobile search platform that makes it simple for everyone from veg-curious to fully vegan find and support the plant-powered businesses and professionals offering products, services and experiences that cultivate a kindness-based lifestyle.
The VegEconomy is a network of plant-based businesses and professionals uniting with purpose-driven consumers to co-create a plant-powered economy.
Our Mission is to be the most effective at bringing value-aligned businesses and consumers together to revolutionize the current food system and supply chain.
Our VegEconomy Business Listings include:
- Brands/businesses that are vegan-owned.
- Professionals who are vegan.
- Sustainable Brands/businesses with fully-vegan product offerings.
Vkind Community members are individuals (like you!) who are vegan, vegetarian, plant-based, or simply veg-curious and have opted to set up a “User Account” with a login and password. There are a lot of great ‘perks’ available to Vkind VIPs — check out the details in the next Q/A below.

When you create a Vkind User Account you become a Vkind Community member with a variety of exclusive benefits:

- Leave reviews and photos on listings to help other users gain insight
- Comment on articles and videos posted on the Vkind Blog
- Champion the success of like-minded businesses and professionals
- Belong to a social and economic movement that is rooted in kindness
Vkind was co-founded by Star Simmons in 2019, a vegan since 1998. Drawing from her 25+ years of entrepreneurial experience and passion for animal welfare and sustainable living, Star conceived of Vkind and The VegEconomy as the vehicle to plant seeds of global change. After assembling a talented team dedicated to furthering the Vkind mission, the company set out to change business-as-usual and change the world.

MEMBER ACCOUNTS
- If you forgot your username or password, visit the member login page and select “Forgot Password?” or go to the account recovery request page. After you enter your email address, a reset link will be sent to you. Remember to use the address you used when you signed up for your account, so that we can identify that you own the account.
- If you previously registered, know your username and password, but are still unable to log in, it may be because your email address is no longer valid. If that’s the case, please speak to your email service provider. Otherwise, contact us to get your account sorted.
- If you’d like to start fresh on Vkind, head here to create a new account.

Yes! Community members join for free when they sign up to receive our newsletter. Paid plans are available for business listings.
Login and head to “My Account”. Then, select the Account Info tab to edit “Personal Info”.
