Vegan at Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival

Vegan at Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival

It is surprisingly easy to eat vegan in the most magical place on earth! The festivals at Epcot are home to some of the best and most unique vegan options offered at the parks!

Author: Madison Frederick

The Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot has such a wide variety of interesting vegan options! The festival boasts fresh, delicious food from multiple different places and cultures around the world. This festival has a surprising amount of plant-based options and even has an entirely vegan booth sponsored by Impossible! They even have an entirely plant-based food stroll called “Garden Graze.” This is a great way to get to try a variety of options! To indicate an option is plant-based, Disney uses a leaf symbol which makes options easy to identify! Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival is such a fun & unique event with equally as fun & unique vegan foods!

Vegan Options at Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival

Tower and Trellis, sponsored by Impossible, is an all-vegan booth that can be found at the Flower & Garden Festival! They serve Impossible Korean Short Ribs, Impossible Lumpia, and a chocolate cake with ice cream and a berry compote! My personal favorite option at this booth is the Impossible Korean Short Ribs! All three of these dishes are incredibly unique and delicious!

Florida Fresh Kitchen features three plant-based options, though one of them is not indicated as plant-based on the menu. Both types of grilled corn at this booth are completely vegan! One of them is spicier than the other. This booth also has a watermelon feta salad, which is actually vegan! While, for some reason, this dish does not have a plant-based symbol next to it on the menu, it is made with Follow Your Heart’s vegan feta cheese! This dish has been confirmed to be vegan by multiple chefs. This is a refreshing option to have during the hot spring and summer months in Florida.

At The Land Cart, you can get a few different snack items! They have a vegetable plate, hummus & vegetables, and cookies and creme mousse!  This is a great booth to stop at for a midday snack during a long day at the park!

At La Isla Fresca, you can get plant-based coconut tres leches. This is such an exciting dessert option to have at the festival!

The Bauermarket: Farmer’s Market Outdoor Kitchen has potato latkes with applesauce! This is such a filling and delicious option at the festival.

Brunchcot has a wonderful, fresh avocado toast topped with radishes, tomatoes, and Follow Your Heart vegan feta! This option is one of my personal favorites from the festival.

At the Pineapple Promenade, you can get a Disney classic, Dole Whip! Dole Whip is an iconic snack at all Disney locations! At this booth, you can get the classic dole whip, a float, or in an alcoholic beverage!

Tangerine Cafe: Tastes of the Medina has a hummus trio that features a traditional hummus, red beet & black garlic hummus, and an avocado-herb hummus! The hummus is served with Moroccan bread. This is another awesome plant-based option at the festival!

The Epcot Refreshment Outpost offers a pineapple skewer with tajin. This is a simple yet refreshing option in the Florida heat!

Lotus House, the booth in China, has plant-based dumplings on the menu! While they do not have the plant-based symbol next to them on the menu, these have been confirmed multiple times to be vegan!

The Garden Graze

The Garden Graze stroll is an all-vegan food walk at the Flower & Garden Festival! If you decide to participate in Garden Graze, you are given a pamphlet to get stamped when you try each of the food items! For completing this walk, you receive a free cup filled with dole whip! This is a super fun activity to do while at Epcot that has a great reward too!

The Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is a unique and fun experience for anyone of any age! The beautiful gardens, delicious vegan food, and fun atmosphere of a theme park make this festival a great experience!
