Ro’s Diner has just recently opened up in Brooklyn, New York. The chef of this spot was also the chef of the iconic Champ’s Diner, which has recently closed its doors.

What is Ro’s Diner?
Ro’s Diner opened up in Brooklyn, New York, at the beginning of March 2023 following the shutdown of Champ’s Diner in January of 2023. Ro Seaward, the chef of Champ’s Diner, is now the chef & co-owner of Ro’s Diner. Many of the previous employees of Champ’s Diner are returning to work at Ro’s Diner. Additionally, a GoFundMe was created to help support the employees of Champ’s Diner after the unexpected closing. This diner actually opened in the same location where Champ’s Diner was previously located. Their menu is heavily inspired by Champ’s Diner and is quite similar, but has plenty of unique, new takes on their classic dishes.
What’s on the Menu?
As previously mentioned, Ro’s Diner features a lot of similar dishes to the closed Champ’s Diner. But, the chef, Ro Seaward, is determined to put his own unique spin on the dishes. They serves a variety of different meals including breakfast, sandwiches, sweets, and even more! Their appetizer menu includes mozz sticks, various kinds of vegan wings, and even jalapeno poppers! They feature a variety of sandwiches and burgers; there will be something for everyone at this spot!
