PANGAIA Clothing Creates Super Super Bars

PANGAIA, the materials science company famed for its ultra-trendy range of sweatsuits and hoodies, has announced the launch of PANGAIA Health, a new lifestyle branch that will market biotech-powered functional meals.

PANGAIA Superfoods, the company’s first product category, has introduced the Super Super Bar, a plant-based, nutrient-dense bar that is high in fiber and gluten-free. The product will be available online starting March 24 for $35 for seven bars, with more goods being added throughout 2022.

Despite creating cutting-edge fashion that celebrities enjoy, PANGAIA never intended to stop at garments, according to the company.

“We are looking at it holistically… In the product itself, we bring a breakthrough innovation to the market. We have identified the food industry as a big opportunity with the pandemic and what’s happening with plant-based foods,” PANGAIA Health’s new CEO, Ira Laufer, told Forbes.

The Mission

The Super Super Bar, created by a group of scientists, farmers, dietitians, and chefs, mixes nature’s greatest products with science to create a nutritious and tasty carbon-neutral bar.

Prickly Pear + Goji Berry, the brand’s initial flavor, is blended with delicious prickly pear, goji berries, sprouted red quinoa, and coconut. The bars use Incredo® sugar as a sweetener, an innovative technique that boosts the concentration of cane sugar on taste receptors, allowing for 50 percent lower sugar formulations without sacrificing sweetness or flavor.

PANGAIA Superfoods contributes to three pillars as part of its environmental impact mission:

• Carbon Neutral: Super Super Bars are certified carbon neutral through investments in solar, wind and biomass energy.

• Supporting 1 Trillion Bees: PANGAIA will plant ten square feet of flowers per box and support the “Bee the Change” fund.
• Minimal Packaging: The product box is recyclable, while the bar wrapper naturally decomposes in home or industrial compost.
