Bath had a large vegan food festival this past weekend as the UK commemorates the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The event was a celebration of plant-based life, with 80 vendors selling everything from fashion to food to pet items.
On June 4, the festival took place, which also happens to be the third day of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee long weekend celebrations. She will be the first British monarch to accomplish this feat.
Bath has hosted a number of vegan festivals in the past, but organizer Victoria Bryceson promised that the event in 2022 would be “bigger and better.”
“We received so much positive feedback last year. There is now so much demand that this festival is becoming a sell-out event,” she told Somerset Live.

One of the food caterers at the festival is Vegan Sweet Tooth London, an Italian artisan patisserie and bakery. The company’s sweet delicacies, such as blueberry and lavender and Oreo and chocolate cakes, are available to festival guests.
There was also a presence from There’s No Catch, who provided fishless fillets prepared using Vfish.
“The wonderful thing about the event is that it’s for everyone whatever your lifestyle,” said Bryceson.
“Just come along and bring your friends for a great, fun day out,” they added. “You’ll have everything you need there, whether you’re looking for some retail therapy, some ‘me’ time, precious family time, or just a lovely meal out with some friends.”
Workshops, seminars, and stalls run by animal welfare organizations were also held at the Bath Pavillion during the festival.
