In the midst of so much heaviness in the world, we found a little pocket of pure light and love. 🤍
Our time at Aimee’s sanctuary in Arizona, surrounded by rescued animals and the incredible care they receive every single day, was a powerful reminder that healing is possible—for them and for us.
Watching these animals feel safe, seen, and loved shows what compassion in action truly looks like. Every life saved, every gentle touch, every safe space created is proof that goodness still exists, even when things feel dark.
Aimee is a true hero to the animals. The dedication and heart she pours into their care is a testament to the kindness and hope we can all choose to bring into the world.
There is something deeply transformative about spending time with animals who have been given a second chance. Their resilience and trust have a way of softening our hearts and guiding us back to empathy, presence, and gratitude.

I was bawling when she sent me this video. She was devastated at having to leave her sheep babies. 🐑 She is so full of love for animals, her family, and her community. She has been there for me so many times over the years, including the Woolsey fire.
