Haute Doughnuts started as a home based, vegan family owned doughnut business operated by Jeremy and Cara Miller whom both converted over to a vegan lifestyle in 2014. After Jeremy traveled all over the United States working with michelin star chefs Thomas Keller, Jean-Georges and Guenter Seeger, he knew he eventually wanted to bring his skills and knowledge by starting his own food business . With their love for vegan food and sweets, especially doughnuts, they quickly realized the options were limited in Augusta, Georgia. They decided it was time to take a big risk and start a plant based revolution. In 2019, Cara and Jeremy began experimenting in the kitchen with vegan recipes and after months of trial and error, their delicious vegan doughnuts were born.
