Wizards Game with a Vegan Twist

Why are we doing a vegan meetup at a Washington Wizards basketball game? Besides cheering for our local NBA team, we get to support our city’s very own vegan coach. That’s right, [Joseph “The Vegan Coach” Blair](https://www.instagram.com/mrjosephblair/) has been a huge [supporter of animals and veganism](https://vegnews.com/2023/9/vegan-nba-washington-wizards-jb-blair), and now we get to root for him and his team. Join us at the November 20 game against the Bucks at the Capital One Arena.

Come with your vegan attire and you can even bring a sign. Let’s keep the messaging friendly and fun–basketball puns are welcome

Meet at [Hip City Veg ](https://hipcityveg.com/locations/)at 712 7th Street NW for dinner at 6–we’ll grab food and eat in the Kogod Courtyard of the National Portrait Gallery.
