**TheTravel.com** listed Urban Vegan Kitchen as one of the “**10 Best Vegan Restaurants in NYC**” and wrote: “Feast on dishes like Korean BBQ “wings,” Chick-un & Waffles, and a shrimp taco so convincing that it’s real shrimp, you’ll question if the staff secretly snuck seafood in your dish. Spoiler alert: they did not; their “shrimp” is made of konjac, a starchy root vegetable native to Southeast Asia.”
