“Power Foods: One and All” with Physicians Committee President Dr. Neal Barnard

Join us to welcome Physicians Committee President Dr. Neal Barnard who will be in Chicago on Thursday, June 6 to highlight the partnership with Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center with the inaugural event **Power Foods: One and All**.
Above and Beyond will open its doors to raise awareness about food disparities in Chicago and the work being done to empower the community to make nutritious, healing meal choices, regardless of budget. The Center will be unveiling a new approach to utilizing nutrition for addiction recovery and serving a variety of power foods to sample. Dr. Barnard will share the latest in nutrition research, including the connections between diet and mental health as part of the presentation. Other presenters include Above and Beyond Founder Bryan Cressey, Chef Dustin Harder, and special guest Kirk Charles.
