HipCityVeg & Holiday Lights with Vegan Trekkers

Let’s meet at [Hip City Veg ](https://hipcityveg.com/locations/) 712 7th Street NW to order dinner at 5pm. We’ll take our food to the nearby [Kogod Courtyard](https://americanart.si.edu/visit/saam/kogod-courtyard) (enclosed and heated) which is part of the National Portrait Gallery.

After eating, we’ll check out the [Downtown Holiday Market in Penn Quarter](https://downtownholidaymarket.com/) which is around the corner from the National Portrait Gallery, before heading over to President’s Park on the Ellipse to see the [National Christmas Tree](https://www.nps.gov/whho/planyourvisit/national-christmas-tree.htm) and the trees representing the 56 states and territories. We’ll also walk to the front of the White House to see the decorations before walking back to Gallery Place.

Please dress for the weather! We’ll be walking about 3 miles or so.
