Hands Off! New York City Fights Back – Mass Protest

Saturday, April 5th, 2025 will be a **nationwide day of Mass Mobilization and Protests** against the **reckless demolition of our constitutional government** and the **destruction of our traditional American values of democracy and rule of law**. This is not a liberal/conservative issue. The Founding Fathers would be rolling over in their graves over the destruction of our democracy.

This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Alongside Americans across the country, we are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.

A core principle behind all Hands Off! events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.

**Where Our Meetup Group Will Meet:** We will meet at 12:45pm right on the corner of 42nd Street and 6th Avenue (the Bryant Park corner of this street intersection). We will be holding a sign that says “VEG MEETUP”. We’ll be waiting on the corner till just 1:00pm, so don’t be late! At 1:00pm we will join the protest.
