Brunch in the Park: Vegan Picnic Social in Prospect Park #Brooklyn

Join us for a relaxing picnic at the beautiful at Prospect Park this Summer! Prospect Park is a 526-acre urban oasis located in the heart of Brooklyn, New York City. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, the same landscape architects behind Manhattan’s Central Park, Prospect Park offers a variety of natural landscapes, including meadows, woodlands, and a 60-acre lake. The park is home to popular attractions like the Long Meadow, the Picnic House and the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, which features ice skating in the winter and roller skating in the summer. The Concert Grove Pavilion, where the picnic will be held, is a picturesque spot ideal for gatherings and relaxation.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy delicious food, and have a fun time outdoors. Whether you’re a longtime Brooklynite or new to the area, everyone is welcome!

***What to Bring:***
– Bring your own blanket or chair.
– **Bring your own vegan food – All food must be vegan, even if you yourself are not 100% vegan. Reminder, you are with fellow vegans in this meetup group. Also, we do not recommend sharing food, however if you share food, just keep in mind that not everyone has exactly the same level of dietary restrictions.**
– Bring your own beverage or water.
– Dress comfortably and stay hydrated.
– Feel free to bring games (as you like)
– Bring your friends along (if they want to join)

***Where to Meet:***
**- Please try to arrive on time to meetup event, we will wait at the Concert Grove Pavilion until 1:15 pm, in case you are running late, please try to find us at fields nearby the Concert Grove Pavilion – our group will be hanging out in the nearby fields. Also, please check for the groups current location in the “Comments” of the Meetup event page.**

***Notes:***
– Please remember to clean up after yourself and help keep our park clean.
– For those of you who have never attended one of our Meetup events: this is an incredibly friendly & welcoming group. You will meet lots of friendly and wonderful people. We invite you to join us!

**Train Directions:**
Take the B, Q Train to Prospect Park station (Exit via Ocean Ave & Lincoln Rd at NE corner), our meetup location at Concert Grove Pavilion is about 0.2 miles/ 4 min walking distance.
