Birdwatch Stroll with Veg*ns – McGolrick Bird Club #Greenpoint #Brooklyn

**Join us for Free NYC community event organized by McGolrick Bird Club – Friends of McGolrick. Our meetup event will participate in the birdwatching event, followed by veg*n brunch at nearby location. You can just attend the Birdwatching event (9 am – 11am) for any amount of time, OR just join us for Veg*n brunch (11 am onwards) – Brunch location to be posted on the meetup page comments. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for outdoor activities.**

The McGolrick Bird Club is a community of passionate birdwatchers dedicated to exploring and preserving the natural beauty of McGolrick Park, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NYC. The club fosters appreciation for local and migratory bird species while building a welcoming and supportive community for enthusiasts of all skill levels – They organize regular strolls, educational talks, and conservation efforts are part of their mission to promote environmental awareness and biodiversity.

Join fellow bird enthusiasts for a leisurely morning of birdwatching and community bonding. All experience levels are welcome! We’ll explore the park’s diverse habitats and identify local and migratory species – Followed by veg*n brunch at nearby restaurant.

**Meetup Location** – Monsignor McGolrick Park (Russell Street &, Nassau Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222)

**What to bring:**
– Binoculars (optional but recommended)
– Comfortable walking shoes
– Weather-appropriate clothing
– Notebook for observations
– Stay Hydrated.

**FOR OUR NEW MEMBERS:** this is an incredibly friendly and welcoming group. We are a FUN group. Join us for fun community event, and possibly great food and drinks with fellow vegetarians and vegans. Please wear comfortable clothes and stay hydrated.

**TRAIN DIRECTIONS:** For Monsignor McGolrick Park, Take G train to Nassau Ave – 9 Min/ 0.4 Mile walk to meetup location. For Brunch location, please watch for update on meetup page comments.
