C W Dorin Architecture

A primary goal of C W Dorin Architecture is to work directly with clients on projects at a more intimate scale than what you can get from a corporate firm.  

C W Dorin architecture was created for a few reasons. The first was to provide a direct relationship between the designer and the client. Larger firms and larger projects are controlled by the needs and wants of those with money and power, with little regard for the end user or the public involved. I’m a sole practitioner and focus on residential projects to work closely with the client on spaces they inhabit daily.

Another reason was to offer my skills as a careful listener and thoughtful designer-someone who is patient with clients who want their voices heard. Each project has a flat fee tailored to each unique project, so projects move forward organically and client meetings are always free. We can get to everything without ever feeling rushed.
