Jillian’s first foray into plant-based diets began at the age of 16. Throughout her 20s, she traveled across 30 countries and found her consciousness for the planet and all of its beings grew alongside the passport stamps.
In 2017, Jillian went raw vegan for health reasons. After putting her autoimmune disease in remission on a fruit-based vegan diet, Jillian became committed to working in the vegan wellness space. She hopes to use her skills to end factory farming, animal abuse, planetary harm and the growing chronic illness epidemic. She now heads marketing for the world’s largest raw vegan festival.
Outside of travel and the vegan lifestyle, Jillian thrives on salsa dancing, music, hiking, dogs, yoga, reading, writing, hitchhiking, foraging or any adventure that calls. Her favorite dish? A kilo of freshly harvested Kurdish figs. Vegan Sichuanese calls in at a close 2nd.
