Please join us on Tuesday, Feb 4th, starting at 6:30 pm, for a fun and unforgettable quick food experience in downtown Brooklyn.

Armored Grilled Cheese is an all-vegan pop-up in the Dekalb Market Hall and serves varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup at a bargain price, items starting at $2.99 each. You can have 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and a cup of tomato soup for around $10… total. Yes, you read right – here in NYC!

**Event Location:** in the Dekalb Market Hall, which is downstairs in the City Point high-rise building at 445 Albee Square W, Brooklyn, NY 11201. This is part of the food hall, on the aisle right across from Trader Joe’s. (See additional pics at this meetup page.)

There is plenty of unreserved seating in the food hall so the group will gather and find seating together. For anyone who wants to hang out after eating, we will socialize and possibly play games as well.
*Note: Saurabh (the host, see pics below) will wait from 6:30 to 7 pm at the pop-up kiosk to help people find the group and sit together as best possible; otherwise look for the group eating grilled cheese sandwiches!*

**Train Directions:** *Take the 2 or 3 train to Hoyt St, or the A, C, F, or R train to Jay St Metrotech* and walk a couple of blocks over to the Dekalb Market Hall in City Point.

**About the Company:** Armored Fresh is a South Korean company that combines innovative science and culinary arts to make vegan cheese – a precision formulation of plant-based lactic acid and plant milk. Their 1st US location is at this pop-up in NYC.

They create vegan cheese in American and pepper jack flavors, in addition to cheddar not currently available here. Zero Dairy – Zero Soy – Zero Gluten – Zero GMO. They sell their cheese packs too at very competitive prices.

As options at the pop-up, you can add onions, mushrooms, kimchi, and extra cheese to their basic grilled cheese sandwich which already consists of 2 cheese slices. Other beverages are available for purchase as well.
