Founded in 2006 as the Albany Vegan Network, CRVN (Capital Region Vegan Network) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Albany, New York. Over the past 17 years, CRVN has evolved from a solely volunteer-driven organization into a multifaceted entity. In addition to the annual festivals, the network now prioritizes monthly gatherings, smaller educational events, food demonstrations, volunteer opportunities beyond the organization, and more. CRVN hosts vegan festivals both Albany VegFest and Veg Out in Troy each year to support local businesses and provide education about plant-based diets, bringing together over a hundred vendors to spread the message of compassion.
