Oat milk can be made super quickly by blending oats with water and straining. A cheesecloth works best, but I don't have one, so I just used a clean kitchen towel to squeeze the liquid through. It can be jazzed up with dates, vanilla, cinnamon, or cocoa powder for a chocolate version. So easy! This can be enjoyed alone or added to shakes, cereals, or baked goods.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but oat milk is easier to make than I ever thought. No fancy tools or ingredients are required. I simply blended oats in water with a pinch of salt and strained into a glass. I tried two flavors (plain and chocolate), and both turned out great!
