DESCRIPTION:**Feel free to join the Pizza crawl for any length of time\, tag along halfway\, and leave the crawl whenever you wish. You can either start with us at the first leg\, or join us mid-tour at a future leg. Buying food/eating at Veg*n establishments is at your discretion. If you like to eat at local joints please don’t forget to bring some CASH.** \nNew York City has some fantastic eating and drinking neighborhoods\, with some very unique local NYC spots serving New-York Style Pizza – which is as Wiki explains “.. *pizza made with a characteristically large hand-tossed thin crust\, often sold in wide slices to go. The crust is thick and crisp only along its edge\, yet soft\, thin\, and pliable enough beneath its toppings to be folded in half to eat.*” \nJoin us as we explore and eat at local PIZZA venues serving Veg*n options in Financial District (Lower Manhattan) and DUMBO (Down Under Manhattan Bridge Overpass) area and of course\, walk over the Brooklyn bridge along the way to burn some calories. \nIn the past years\, we had done similar Veg*n pizza crawls in other NYC neighborhoods – It was FUN event! \n**1st Leg Pizza Crawl – 11:15 AM onwards** \n**Stop 1.1 – Underground Pizza** (3 Hanover Square #2615\, New York\, NY)\n[https://www.undergroundpizzamenu.com/](https://www.undergroundpizzamenu.com/)\nPizza counter with NYC-style & thin-crust specialty pies plus pasta & Italian sandwiches. \n**Stop 1.2 – &pizza** – Wall St (63 Wall St\, New York\, NY)\n[https://andpizza.com/](https://andpizza.com/)\nModern pizzeria chain serving gourmet pies with diverse sauces\, plus dessert pizzas & house sodas. \n**Stop 1.3 – Kesté Pizza e Vino** (77 Fulton St\, New York\, NY)\n[https://kestepizzeria.com/](https://kestepizzeria.com/)\nNeapolitan wood-fired pizzas with vegan & gluten-free options doled out in a shoebox-sized space. \n**2nd Leg Pizza Crawl – 1:30 PM onwards**\nWalk the Brooklyn Bridge (From City Hall Park) – Distance ~1.9 miles\nAlternatively you can choose to take public transit and meet us in Dumbo. \n**3rd Leg Pizza Crawl – 2:30 PM onwards** \n**Stop 3.1 – Front Street Pizza** (80 Front St\, Brooklyn\, NY)\n[https://www.frontstreetpizzabrooklyn.com/](https://www.frontstreetpizzabrooklyn.com/)\nSlices\, heros and calzones make this corner pizza joint a popular option for takeout. \n**Stop 3.2 – Juliana’s Pizza** (19 Old Fulton St\, Brooklyn\, NY)\n[https://www.julianaspizza.com/](https://www.julianaspizza.com/)\nClassic & specialty pies from a coal-fired oven in a modern space by pizza legend Patsy Grimaldi. \nIn the end\, we’ll walk up and hangout by the Waterfront at Brooklyn Bridge Park – Depending on the weather we might choose to hangout at an alternative location. \nFOR OUR NEW MEMBERS: this is an incredibly friendly and welcoming group.
