SUMMARY:Music & Art for the Animals with PCRM + Vegan Food & Socializing Afterwards
DESCRIPTION:**Update: the group will go to P.S. Kitchen (246 W 48th St\, New York\, NY 10036) after the PCRM event. It is probably a 10-min walk and we hope to be there around 9 pm.** \nPlease join our meetup group for a unique evening of music and art to celebrate animals with the DC-based **Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM)**\, and then a meetup gathering afterwards for vegan food and more socializing at a nearby place TBD. \nOn this special evening (Tuesday\, May 9)\, music comes together with PCRM’s work to save animals. Dr. Neal Barnard will present music and videos from his band CarbonWork’s new album\, called *Vanishing Act*. The evening will also feature a live performance by Italian-French singer Dolche\, whose voice has graced both CarbonWorks albums. There will also be a vegan cupcake reception. Records and CDs will be available to purchase with proceeds benefitting PCRM. \n**Part 1: PCRM Event**\n**6:15 pm – Meet & Greet**\n**7:00 pm – Album video reel**\n**8:00 pm – Live performance**\nWater allowed\, but the Robin Williams Center does not allow any food items. \nTickets: $15 each (no tax deduction).
