Everyone pays for their own meal.***** \nCome join us for a vegan Mexican experience at Chef Guy Vaknin’s newest restaurant\, Siete Cocina Mexicana\, which recently had its grand opening on March 12th. Siete is the newest restaurant from City Roots Hospitality and Chef Guy\, joining Beyond Sushi\, Anixi\, Willow\, and Coletta as plant based dining destinations in New York City. \nSiete is a vibrant culinary journey through Mexico blending authentic Mexican flavors with a modern twist. The drinks are fun (incredible horchata) and the food is even better. Highlights were the escabeche (pickled vegetable platter)\, the pulled pibil steak tacos (so flavorful! loved the fresh veggies toppings! and the homemade corn tortillas omg)\, the grilled chicken enchiladas\, and the chocolate chili tart. The pepita crusted salmon and the mango tres leches were also super fun. It’s a cool vibe – like a modern\, upscale cantina. Would be perfect for date night or a casual solo drink or snack at their counter or bar seating. We particularly loved the Birria and Pulled Pibil tacos\, the tuna ceviche\, the chicken enchiladas and the guac. Drinks were equally great and the service was seamless and friendly. My only sad point was that they didn’t yet have the Mango Tres Leches ready\, but if everything else was any indication\, and this was the first week of operation – we will be back soon!* \n**Alexis L.**\n*Our first time dining in at Siete was incredible\, we cannot wait to come back! The cocktails\, food\, service and atmosphere were amazing. We ordered a variety of drinks as well as the smashed guacamole\, taquitos\, elote\, enchiladas\, birria tacos\, and the coconut lime carlota dessert. The guacamole blew me away\, not only was it so fresh and tasty\, but there is a smokiness that pairs so well with the tofu skin chicharrones!
