DESCRIPTION:What better way than to spend a gorgeous Sunday afternoon sharing vegan culinary delights with great company in the park?! Join [VSDC](vsdc.org) and vegan meetup friends for a summer picnic in Rock Creek Park in NW DC. The picnic starts at 4 pm and we have the space reserved until 6 pm so please plan to stay until then. There is no charge to attend the picnic. \nItems to bring to the picnic:\n– Vegan potluck dish (no animal products of any kind) to share. For food quantity\, please bring 4 to 6 times the number of servings times the number in your party.\n– A serving utensil for your dish\n– Ingredients list or recipe for your dish\n– Beverage for yourself or one to share (no alcohol allowed on premises)\n– Help reduce waste so please bring your reusable plate\, cup and utensils \nNote: VSDC will provide basic supplies\, drinking water\, and ice. \nFriendly reminder: vegans do not consume any animal products or byproducts (no meat\, chicken/poultry\, fish/sea animals\, eggs\, milk or dairy products\, honey\, etc). \n**Location**\nPicnic Area #1 at Rock Creek Park is located next to [Peirce Mill](https://npplan.com/parks-by-state/washington-d-c-national-parks/rock-creek-park-park-at-a-glance/rock-creek-park-peirce-mill-and-barn/)\, near the corner of Shoemaker and Spring of Freedom streets.
