We look forward to sharing a meal and conversation with those interested in or living a WFPB SOS-Free lifestyle. \n**What is WFPB SOS-Free?** A whole-food plant-based SOS-free diet includes whole grains\, tubers\, fruits\, vegetables\, legumes\, nuts\, and seeds. It eliminates animal products\, salt\, oil\, sugar (SOS)\, and processed foods. [For more information\, check out this quick overview!](https://nutritionstudies.org/what-is-a-whole-food-plant-based-diet/) \n**Please Bring:** \n* Please bring a dish that serves 6 – 8 people per person attending\n* A serving utensil\n* A copy of the recipe and include your name on it so people can identify who made each dish.\n* A drink for yourself or one to share. Nonalcoholic\, please.\n* You can also bring your reusable plate\, cup\, and utensils to reduce waste.\n* An oven and microwave are available on-site\, but space is limited\, so it will be reserved for a quick reheat rather than cooking. \n**What to Leave Out of Your Dish?**\n**Please respect the diet and lifestyle choices of those attending by NOT bringing** **food containing** beef\, pork\, chicken\, turkey\, fish\, seafood\, eggs\, cheese\, butter\, cream\, yogurt\, or other dairy products\, honey or gelatin\, or other animal products or processed foods\, salt\, oil\, or sugar. \n**Questions:** Please contact wfpb@vsdc.org with questions about what to bring or if you want to help plan future WFPB events. \n**Transportation:** The home is a short walk from the Friendship Heights Metro stop.
