The organizers are working on a DC event in 2025; VSDC will be strongly involved.***\n*9/9/24 UPDATE: The organizers have made the difficult decision to postpone Planet DC 2024 – to secure a more vendor-friendly location that ensures a successful and well-attended event. So No event will be held on October 20th and we will let you know any developments as they become available.*** \nJoin VSDC at [Planet DC](https://planetseriesevents.org/dc/)\, a **free\, outdoor\, all-vegan event** at Franklin Park in NW DC\, for fantastic food\, speakers\, music\, giveaways\, and so much more. The event hopes to inspire people to embrace eco-friendly practices (and go vegan) while creating a greener future for all. \nThe [Veg Society of DC](http://www.vsdc.org/) is proud to be an official sponsor of Planet DC! \nSpeakers and presenters for this event are being finalized. More information will be provided here soon. \n**There are three great ways to participate. Please complete the relevant registration form(s) using the links below:** \n* **[Volunteer at the VSDC table](https://forms.gle/TAmN1XmCBogYy1VV9)**: Join fellow VSDC volunteers and tell others about VSDC. We are planning two-hour shifts.\n* **[Volunteer with Planet DC](https://planetseriesevents.org/volunteer-2/)**: The Planet Series team organizing this event needs volunteers\, too. This includes setting up before the event and breaking down and loading out after it.\n* **Simply attend!** Registration is free – so tell your family and friends in advance and be sure they come to the event. \n(for the 1st 2 volunteering items\, PLEASE sign up as soon as possible but no later than October 10th) \nVSDC hopes to see you there! \n**VSDC: More Than A Meetup**\nWe are so glad to have you as part of The Veg Society of DC Vegan Meetup group\, and we enjoy seeing you at our events.
