SUMMARY:VSDC Packs Fruits and Veggies for Local Families in Need
DESCRIPTION:Have you volunteered at a food bank and cringed as you helped pack foods\, including meat and dairy\, that don’t align with your values? Community FarmShare supports families in need while caring about the health of those they serve and the environment. \nJoin us at the Community FarmShare Hub to help pack fruits and vegetables grown on local small-scale farms for those lacking access to healthy foods. The bags we (and other volunteers) pack will be distributed to more than 500 families. \nWe will stand for the entire shift\, so wear comfortable\, closed-toe shoes. We recommend you bring a water bottle and feel free to bring a light vegan snack. Packing takes place partially outdoors but shaded\, so dress for the weather.
