DESCRIPTION:Join VSDC for this month’s animal rights/vegan-themed Movie Watch Party and vegan food event on Saturday\, April 29\, in Fairfax VA. Socializing beforehand and discussion about the movie afterwards is planned. \nWe will watch the documentary *Game Changers*\, the game-changing film about meat\, protein\, and strength presented by James Cameron\, Arnold Schwarzenegger\, Jackie Chan\, Lewis Hamilton\, Novak Djokovic\, and Chris Paul. \nThe VSDC member hosts’ home in Fairfax has a small home theater that can accommodate around 20 people. This monthly event is a fun way to learn\, discuss\, and meet vegans and vegan-curious people (Thanks to Mindy Kursban and David Kwiatkowski for hosting!). \nFEE: The $10 fee will cover the hosts’ expenses for the event\, including food\, beverages\, and other associated costs. If there are any proceeds beyond these costs\, which we don’t expect\, they will go towards VSDC’s work to fulfill its mission. In order to ensure the success of the evening and limit late cancellations\, the fee is refundable until 5 days before the event. \nFOOD: Vegan pizza\, salad\, fruit\, and snacks will be provided. We will meet and chat\, and enjoy the chill atmosphere. Their entire menu is vegan\, and they have fantastic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Everyone orders their own food & beverages and pays the restaurant directly. \nVSDC THANKS Sarah Cusack who is now leading our LGBTQIA+ events! \nWHAT: Dinner at sPACYcLOUd Lounge in DC. They can accommodate 50 people.
