Jewels by SJB is a collection of cruelty free jewelry and bookmarks. Most pieces are made in my home studio in Toronto, ON. I’m passionate about creating pieces that tell your story.

To make SJB jewelry I use genuine gemstones, .925 sterling silver, 14k gold fill metal and sometimes gold vermeil to create high quality pieces that are made to last. Check out our FAQ page for more details on the material we use.

I recently started making bookmarks after realizing that I wanted to be done using whatever random thing was laying around to mark my place in my book. I had too much fun making myself lots of bookmarks with gemstones, charms and even custom hand stamping. I decided to have a little fun on instagram with them and gave 3 away. This was the beginning of bookmarks in my shop and I couldn't be happier. I get so much joy thinking about others enjoying their cozy reading moments with a bookmark I've poured my love and attention to detail into.

I am a wife, mom to two boys, step-mom to one and a vegan! I believe in mercy, adventuring, simplicity, grace, prayer and expressing yourself.

I've been making jewelry for 15+ years and still love the process from start to finish.
