About Us

We opened Grateful Heart Veterinary Hospital in January 2020 in one of Portland’s most exciting, growing neighborhoods.

We offer wellness care, urgent care, preventive dentistry, dental surgery, general (soft tissue) surgery, digital radiography (full body and dental), therapeutic laser and rehabilitation services for cats and dogs.

Our staff is stacked with experts:

~ Certified Veterinary Technicians

~ a Certified Surgical Technologist

~ an office manager with a certification in pet nutrition

After almost 13 years in general practice, including having served as medical director at a premier clinic in Portland, I am excited to bring great vet care to Northeast and North Portland and build a heart-forward, modern, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital.

Our comfortable lobby offers all vegan furnishings, homemade vegan cookies (for people and dogs too!) and coffee.
